Plastic screws on the cover plate of energy storage batteries are used to secure the power circuit board. Since the power supply itself transmits electricity to other hardware through the interface plugged into the motherboard, if the power circuit board becomes loose or falls off, it will cause unstable power supply. Plastic screws prevent the power circuit board from loosening or falling off due to vibrations, while also providing insulation and shielding against electromagnetic interference. Thus, plastic screws are crucial in energy storage batteries.

Another significant characteristic of plastic screws is their excellent acid and alkali resistance. PVDF screws, in particular, have great advantages in acid and alkali resistance. Nylon screws, compared to PVDF screws, have less acid and alkali resistance but higher strength.   1. Preventing Leakage and Overcurrent Issues: After the assembly of finished energy storage batteries, they undergo current testing. These overcurrent parts are usually terminal connections. If the terminal is not securely fastened, it will cause poor contact at the connection point, resulting in high resistance, local overheating, and potential burning of the terminal. Therefore, excellent fastening plastic screws must be used to tighten the terminals to avoid poor contact.
  2. Sealing: Plastic screws not only serve the purpose of secure connection but also play a critical role in sealing. In terms of design, plastic screws are enhanced with sealing teeth, sealing glue, and insulating gaskets for better sealing elements.

Because plastic screws play such an important role in energy storage batteries, every step in the injection molding process must be strictly controlled, adhering to quality standards to safeguard the quality of the client’s products.
